I was so glad the hotel upgraded our room to one with a balcony overlooking the harbour. xavier was very kind, he checked us in early in the morning. the staff was friendly throughout our stay. the location is wonderful. Darling harbour is right there, i discovered.
The public transport is a bit of a walk away from the hotel. This requires some planning. i didn't especially love the bathroom, it could use some improvements! though the rest of the stay was wonderful.

Harbour Views and Convenient Location

The room was a King Room Balcony Darling Harbour View. I saw Darling Harbour Marina from the narrow but long balcony. The large stand-alone tub in the bathroom was a nice feature. Restaurants and bars were close by. The hotel also has several restaurants and bars including Sailmaker.
I found that some of the extras in the room were chargeable.

The breakfast service seemed very good. Staff were helpful at the bar when the bubble bottle was flat, and he opened a fresh one. The reception staff gave drink vouchers for our anniversary.

Breakfast choices were excellent. The hotel features several restaurants and bars, including Sailmaker. There is also a busy rooftop bar available to enjoy.

the hotel's location near darling harbor was acceptable.
The lack of english breakfast tea at the conference was annoying. one staff member said the hotel ran out. I felt this was unacceptable. the hotel shuts down all bars at 10 pm, a problem if you are traveling for a holiday.

i appreciated the friendly staff who made check-in quick. the room was clean (i found it very comfortable) with a beautiful view of darling harbour.
the parking fees are very high and the hotel interior looks a bit dated.

I enjoyed proximity to attractions and transport. The hotel is near Darling Harbour so it's easy to walk to the ferries. Wilson parking across the road proved useful for my rental car.
I noticed the in-room phone lacked clear instructions for contacting reception. It was a slight inconvenience initially.
